Concept
Our goal is to prevent postmortem misidentification and improve industry safety and efficiency standards. Leveraging state of the art artificial intelligence and biometrics, Identified can identify a postmortem body with a near 100% accuracy rate. This can be done instantaneously and without the risk of human error. Following the loss of a loved one, intense emotions of grief, sadness, and even shock can be heightened when called upon to identify the deceased. Identified aims to ease the bereavement process of family and friends by eliminating the need to have direct interaction with the deceased.

With over 20 years of experience in business administration, Robb Anderson continues to strive to find the new and improved concept to enhance people’s lives. It was through personal experience that led Robb and Shane to the development of Identified.
Shane McGowan, M.D.
Co-founder & President
Dr. McGowan is an orthopedic spine surgeon by training with a background in both accounting and marketing. He has been in the business field since he was 16 when he started his first business. Through personal and professional experiences Dr. McGowan has gained both an interest and deep respect for the death process. He has a passion for improving postmortem body processing and improving the grieving process for families and loved ones. Working on the Identified project has been extremely satisfying and fulfilling for him and he looks forward to seeing how this technology will improve the industry for the better
